- 8 oz ziti pasta
- +/1/4 cup fresh basil
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup lemon zest
- 1 tsp garlic-infused olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet, heat the garlic-infused olive oil over medium heat. Add the lemon zest and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Add the cooked ziti pasta, basil, and reserved pasta water to the skillet. Toss to combine, and adjust seasoning as needed.
