Ingredients

  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk, at room temperature
  • 6 large lemons, zested and juiced
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  6. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased 10×15 inch jelly roll pan.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the pan’s edge comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
